How we handle information from this website.

What this covers

This page describes how AppStartDev handles information collected through this website. It does not cover information shared during a paid engagement, which is governed by the contract for that engagement.

What we collect on this site

• Contact form submissions. Name, email, company, project type, budget range, and message. Stored only long enough to respond and follow up.
• Server logs. IP address and basic request metadata, retained for short periods to defend against abuse and debug failures.
• Cookies. Only what is needed for the site to function (theme preference). No third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, the privacy page will be updated before that happens.

Third-party services we use

• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox. Submissions transit through Resend.
• Google reCAPTCHA v3 evaluates whether form submissions are likely automated. Google sets cookies and reads page signals to make this judgement. We pass only what reCAPTCHA needs to score the request.
• GitHub hosts the source for this site. The deployed site does not load anything from GitHub at runtime.

Each of these companies has its own privacy practices. We do not control them, and we do not share information with them beyond what their integration requires.

How we use what you send

Contact form messages are read by a senior member of the team and used to reply, schedule a call, or decline politely. We do not sell, share, or syndicate this information. We do not add submitters to a marketing list.

Retention

Contact form messages are retained while a conversation is active and for a reasonable follow-up window after, then archived or deleted. Server logs are typically rotated within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@appstartdev.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, others), those rights apply.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated, rate limited, and protected by reCAPTCHA. We do not store payment information on this site.

Changes to this page

When we update this page, the date at the top changes. Material changes will be obvious. If you have questions about a specific update, email us.
